What is BarkBuddy?

BarkBuddy is the first app designed to locate adoptable pups in your area and fetch you a perfect match.

What can you do with the BarkBuddy app?

- Browse through thousands of pup profiles, you can get more info about a pup, share it with friends, or save your favorites.

- As you swipe through photos of adorable dogs nearby, the better our recommendations become. Our app looks at the different aspects of your favorite pups to recommend more we think you'll love.

- Learn a little bit about your own canine preferences We gather stats and give you an idea of the breeds your most drawn to. You can even comb through your favorite dogs by breed on this Stats page.

- Check out your favorites at any time to go back to a rescue dog you've liked, or view all your favorites at once on a map!

- Once you sniff out the perfect new pack member, you can contact the rescue or by phone or email to set up a meet and greet, and get the tennis ball rolling on adopting your next best friend!

BarkBuddy is brought to you by the pup ruvin’ peeps at Bark & Co.– a company dedicated to building products that foster the health and happiness of dogs everywhere. BarkBuddy is the actualization of our belief that everyone should have a dog in their life, and every dog should have a human. Now quit reading and get to swiping!

How do I adopt a BarkBuddy?

Once you find a dog you want to adopt, click the grey ‘i’ button for more info. Here you can contact the rescue or shelter directly through email or by phone.

What devices is the BarkBuddy App compatible with?

The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. More devices coming soon! Email us at support@barkbuddy.com if you would like to be notified when the Android app is available.

Do I need Facebook to create a BarkBuddy account?

Yes, we use Facebook to make sure you are a real hooman looking for a pup. BarkBuddy will never post anything to your Facebook.

Can I submit an adoptable pup to the BarkBuddy app?
